Richfield is 8-2 against Castleford since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Richfield Tigers will take on the Castleford Wolves at 6:00 p.m. Richfield will be strutting in after a victory while Castleford will be coming in after a loss.

Richfield took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They managed a 26-20 win over Hansen. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Richfield's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Malia Kent, who posted ten points and four steals, and Kallee Hendren, who put up seven points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Lexi Holland, who earned no points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Castleford had to suffer through a 48-21 loss at the hands of Carey.

Richfield will have to contain Oaklee Skinner as she made an impact in Castleford's last game. She went 6 for 8 to rack up 16 points and five boards. Thanks to that strong game, Skinner now owns an excellent 45.4% shooting accuracy.

Richfield's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-14. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 16.7 points over those games. As for Castleford, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Richfield has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 29 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Castleford struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.1 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.

Richfield beat Castleford 38-30 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Richfield since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
