Waldorf suffers fourth straight loss on the road

Recap: Waldorf Mavericks vs. DCP Alum Rock Lobos

This season hasn't been kind to the Waldorf Mavericks, who are still winless after their fourth matchup. They were dealt a 83-45 loss at the hands of DCP Alum Rock on Thursday.

Tony Clarida was his usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with six rebounds and three steals for DCP Alum Rock. That makes it four consecutive games in which Clarida has scored at least 25% of DCP Alum Rock's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emilio Espinoza, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and six steals.

Waldorf bumped their record down to 0-4 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for DCP Alum Rock, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waldorf will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Crystal Springs Uplands at 4:30 p.m. on January 18th. As for DCP Alum Rock, they will head out on the road to face off against North Valley Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
