Ignacio and Mancos are an even 5-5 against one another since August of 2021, but not for long. The Bobcats will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Bluejays at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Ignacio is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Poudre just ended the team's seven-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Impalas by a score of 2-1.

Ignacio started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-18, 19-17.

Meanwhile, Mancos came up short against Telluride on Saturday and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 22-25, 25-20, 25-16.

Ignacio's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Mancos, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

Ignacio beat Mancos 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Bluejays have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
