Volleyball Recap: Versailles Comes Up Short

Versailles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stover Bulldogs. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 23-25, 25-16.

Versailles' defeat dropped their record down to 4-12-2. As for Stover, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6-3 record this season.

Versailles has already played their next matchup (against Smith-Cotton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Stover, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Northwest on the 30th.
