While Auburn's win against Hudson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rockets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Hawks on Saturday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Auburn's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while Hudson are ranked 303rd).

The win made it two in a row for Auburn and bumps their season record up to 7-4-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two contests. As for Hudson, their record is now 0-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Auburn will square off against Whitinsville Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hudson, they will venture away from home to face off against North Middlesex Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
