Buffalo Grove is 8-2 against Elk Grove since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bison will welcome the Grenadiers at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Buffalo Grove came up short against Hersey and fell 2-0.

Buffalo Grove was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Elk Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rolling Meadows.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13.

Elk Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 5-25. As for Buffalo Grove, they now have a losing record of 13-14.

Buffalo Grove beat Elk Grove 2-0 in their previous meeting back in April. Do the Bison have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Grenadiers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
