Basketball Game Preview: Hialeah-Miami Lakes Trojans vs. West Broward Bobcats

Having just played yesterday, the Hialeah-Miami Lakes Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the West Broward Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Thursday, Hialeah-Miami Lakes was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 59-53 to Hialeah.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Broward). They blew past Pompano Beach 68-40 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Bobcats have posted since December 6, 2024.

West Broward's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-10. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Hialeah-Miami Lakes, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Hialeah-Miami Lakes took a serious blow against West Broward when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 73-30. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Hialeah-Miami Lakes was down 41-14.
