It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Curry had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Hamilton Aggies 7-6. The win continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their matchups with the Aggies: they've now won eight in a row.

Skiely Perry spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ambrey Taylor was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Ansley Brown was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Curry's victory bumped their record up to 52-4. As for Hamilton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 26-26.

Curry wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Alexandria on the 15th. Hamilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
