Baseball Recap: St. Andrew's Episcopal Takes a Loss

St. Andrew's Episcopal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-1 to the Flint Hill Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 last Monday.

St. Andrew's Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Flint Hill, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Andrew's Episcopal will welcome Georgetown Day at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flint Hill, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Trinity Christian at 4:30 p.m. The Huskies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gryphons have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
