Softball Recap: Edison Spartans vs. Tuckahoe Tigers
In what's become a running theme this season, Edison gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Tuckahoe Tigers as the Edison Spartans made off with a 9-3 win.
Maycie Bennett was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three runs, a triple, and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Mariana Jones-Frosolone, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.
Edison's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Tuckahoe, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Edison didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win vs. Horseheads on the 5th. Tuckahoe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
