Recap: Silver Creek Raptors vs. Monarch Coyotes
The Silver Creek Raptors can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They skirted past Monarch 27-24. The score was all tied up 10-10 at the break, but Silver Creek was the better team in the second half.
Cole Rogers was his usual excellent self, rushing for 136 yards and three touchdowns.
Monarch's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Noah Hunziker, who rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. Hunziker was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards. Brody Gray was another key contributor, gaining 127 total yards and a touchdown.
Silver Creek's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Monarch, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
Silver Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Monarch is on the road again on November 3rd and play against Golden at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd.
