ED White had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Parker Braves by a score of 3-1. For the Commanders, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Braves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

ED White had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-16, 28-26, 25-18.

Lylian Curtis was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had ten digs and two aces. Those two aces gave her a new career-high.

Parker's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

ED White wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Paxon School For Advanced Studies on the 21st. As for Parker, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against KIPP Bold City on the 21st.
