Soccer Recap: Mead Takes a Loss

Mead and Lewis & Clark squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Mead had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of six yellow cards before it was all over.

Mead's goal came courtesy of Brooke Rogers, who's now up to three this season.

Mead's loss dropped their record down to 10-3-6. As for Lewis & Clark, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-1-4 record this season.

Mead and Lewis & Clark are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Mead will take on Wenatchee at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mead's defense better be ready for this one: Wenatchee has averaged an impressive 3.1 goals per game this season. As for Lewis & Clark, they will welcome Skyline at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
