Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pierce). They put the hurt on the O'Neill Eagles with a sharp 59-39 win on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Bluejays, who have now won four games in a row.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Taylor Young, who posted 11 points. Hannah Hilker was another key player, putting up eight points and four steals.

Pierce's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for O'Neill, their loss dropped their record down to 16-8.

Pierce didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 62-49 defeat against Arlington on the 20th. O'Neill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
