Volleyball Recap: St. Luke's Episcopal Wins Going Away Against Hale County

St. Luke's Episcopal's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Hale County as they made off with a 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant St. Luke's Episcopal was: they took every set by at least 17 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-8, 25-6.

St. Luke's Episcopal can attribute much of their success to Lauren Hill, who had nine assists and three digs. That's the most digs Hill has posted over her last seven contests.

St. Luke's Episcopal was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive matchups.

St. Luke's Episcopal's victory bumped their record up to 26-15. As for Hale County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.

As of now, neither St. Luke's Episcopal nor Hale County have any future games scheduled.
