Lakewood has gone a perfect 10-0 against Cabrillo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Lancers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Jaguars at 4:00 p.m.

Lakewood fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Woodrow Wilson on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 7-6. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cabrillo). They were the clear victors by a 45-26 margin over Compton on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Jaguars as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Lakewood's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Cabrillo, their win bumped their record up to 3-14.

Everything went Lakewood's way against Cabrillo in their previous meeting on April 1st, as Lakewood made off with an 18-0 victory. Will the Lancers repeat their success, or do the Jaguars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
