Baseball Recap: Dalhart Wolves vs. River Road Wildcats
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Dalhart ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the River Road Wildcats, sneaking past 8-7. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Kevin Rios made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over 4.2 innings pitched. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Dalhart is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 5-8 otherwise. Rios was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base.
