Basketball Recap: Parsons Vikings vs. Southeast Lancers
Parsons played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 51-22 defeat at the hands of the Southeast Lancers. The Vikings were down 42-15 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Southeast had a senior duo take command as Teagan Warner dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 boards and Eliz White went 5 for 9 on her way to 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points White has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Tavernaro, who posted seven points and three steals.
Parsons' loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for Southeast, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Parsons will face off against Pittsburg on Tuesday. Parsons is facing Pittsburg at the right time seeing as Pittsburg is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Southeast, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-36 win against Columbus on the 25th.
