Baseball Recap: Keys Gate Takes a Loss

Keys Gate lost against Ferguson back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Knights came up short against the Falcons, falling 18-11.

Keys Gate saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lazaro Puig, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.

Keys Gate has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Ferguson, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-7-1 record this season.

Keys Gate will square off against ABF Academy Homestead at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Ferguson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
