Sahuarita came into Thursday's matchup looking for another win against Palo Verde, but Daniel Ortiz wouldn't allow it. The Palo Verde Titans breezed by the Sahuarita Mustangs to the tune of 79-43 on Thursday thanks in part to Ortiz, who went 10 of 15 on his way to 23 points in addition to seven boards and six assists. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Graves, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Palo Verde is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Sahuarita, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 8-13.

Palo Verde will head out to face off against Thatcher at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Palo Verde is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 67.8 points per game this season. As for Sahuarita, they will host Rio Rico at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
