Basketball Game Preview: Cochranton Cardinals vs. West Middlesex Big Reds

The Cochranton Cardinals and the West Middlesex Big Reds will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Cochranton might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 70-41 to Mercer, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 426th, while the Mustangs are ranked 66th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Middlesex). They breezed by Cochranton to the tune of 70-41 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Big Reds.

West Middlesex's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Cochranton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
