Baseball Recap: Westlake Takes a Loss

If Westlake was riding high fresh off their 13-1 takedown of Pitman on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors lost 9-2 to the San Luis Obispo Tigers on Friday.

Blake Miller was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs.

Westlake's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7. As for San Luis Obispo, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Coincidentally, Westlake and San Luis Obispo will both be playing Merced the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
