Basketball Recap: Headland Comes Up Short

The Headland Rams came up short against the Cairo Syrupmakers on Tuesday and fell 65-52. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Headland now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Cairo, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Headland will be playing at home against Abbeville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cairo, they will face off against Thomas County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Syrupmakers will be up against the Yellow Jackets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.8 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
