Volleyball Game Preview: Episcopal Wildcats vs. Ashdown Panthers

The Episcopal Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Ashdown Panthers at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Episcopal will be strutting in after a win while Ashdown will be coming in after a loss.

Episcopal is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Maumelle Charter 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Ashdown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Jessieville.

Episcopal's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Ashdown, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Episcopal took their victory against Ashdown in their previous matchup back in October of 2021 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
