Basketball Recap: Texas Comes Up Short

Texas was the 47-40 winner over Mt. Pleasant when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Texas Tigers fell to the Mt. Pleasant Tigers 55-51. Texas has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Texas now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Mt. Pleasant, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Marshall the next time they take the court. Texas will head out to face Marshall at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Mt. Pleasant will host them at 6:15 p.m. on December 17th.
