University Charter entered their tilt with Johnson on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 19-1 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 20-0 back in March.

Sadie Dixon made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, University Charter got a massive performance out of Marissa Felus, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Kyia Ezell was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

University Charter hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in four consecutive contests.

University Charter's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Johnson, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, University Charter will welcome Holy Spirit Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Johnson, they will head out on the road to square off against Hatch at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
