Baseball Game Preview: Hamilton Bulldogs vs. Bruceville-Eddy Eagles

The Hamilton Bulldogs will square off against the Bruceville-Eddy Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Hamilton was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Bruceville-Eddy on Tuesday. Hamilton was the clear victors by a 13-7 margin over Bruceville-Eddy. Considering the Bulldogs have won four matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Bret Bauman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. He also allowed three hits, which is notable because Hamilton is 2-1 when he allows at most three hits, but 4-5 otherwise. Bauman was also big at the plate, going 4-for-5 with one stolen base and one RBI.

In other batting news, Kizer DeLord was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Four bases. while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances.
