Joey Russo turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three hits surrendered on Friday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over 4.2 innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Westfield is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 3-5 otherwise.
