Soccer Recap: Midview Comes Up Short

Midview lost against Westlake back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Middies fell just short of the Demons by a score of 2-1. Midview have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Rachael Anderson, who's now up to two this season.

Midview's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-2. As for Westlake, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midview will square off against Avon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Midview's defense better be ready for this one: Avon have averaged an impressive 3 goals per game this season. As for Westlake, they will welcome Valley Forge at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Westlake will be up against Valley Forge's rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.13 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
