Soccer Recap: Cummings Comes Up Short

Cummings was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Seaforth Hawks. While losing is never fun, Cummings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 499th, while Seaforth are ranked 99th).

Cummings' loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Seaforth, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cummings will square off against rival Graham at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Seaforth is set to challenge their familiar foe Northwood at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
