Volleyball Recap: Voung Andy Pham's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Rosemead over Vasquez

The Rosemead Panthers came up short against the Vasquez Mustangs on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rosemead was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Vasquez work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 25-18, 25-19.

Rosemead lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Voung Andy Pham, who had 50 digs and two aces. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Rosemead's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Vasquez, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

Rosemead does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Vasquez, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Brea Olinda on the 2nd.
