After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jemison, Montevallo was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Lamar County 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Montevallo has posted since September 19th.

Montevallo's victory bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Lamar County, they moved to 9-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Montevallo will take on Paul W. Bryant at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lamar County, they will challenge Hillcrest at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
