Coahulla Creek might've scored the first points on Friday, but it was North Murray who claimed the real prize. The Colts fell 21-16 to the Mountaineers. The Colts have struggled against the Mountaineers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Coahulla Creek lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Waelyn Baliles, who threw for 181 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 43 yards and one score. Tyler Douglas was Baliles' top target, picking up 46 receiving yards and one TD, while also rushing for 66 yards.

North Murray's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hudson Hulett, who rushed for 138 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 60 yards and one TD while completing 80% of his passes. Hulett's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 138 rushing yards.
