Soccer Game Preview: The Pinnacle vs. Arrupe Jesuit

The Pinnacle's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Sheridan with a sharp 6-0 victory. The win continues a trend for The Pinnacle in their matchups with Sheridan: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Arrupe Jesuit entered their game against Middle Park on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Generals came up short against the Panthers, falling 5-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Arrupe Jesuit's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

The Pinnacle now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Arrupe Jesuit, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 7-6.

The Pinnacle couldn't quite get it done against Arrupe Jesuit in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Timberwolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
