Football Recap: Bourbon County Skates Past Pendleton County with Ease

Bourbon County won the last time they faced Pendleton County and things went their way on Friday too. The Colonels simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wildcats 43-7. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Colonels' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky football rankings (they are ranked 80th, while the Wildcats are ranked 213th).

The victory made it two in a row for Bourbon County and bumps their season record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.5 points over those games. As for Pendleton County, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Bourbon County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pendleton County, they will face off against Bishop Brossart at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
