It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sonora can now relate to. They were dealt a 31-2 loss at the hands of the Stamford Bulldogs on Thursday. The Broncos have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Stamford's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Miles Follis, who threw for 268 yards and four touchdowns while completing 85% of his passes. A healthy portion of Follis' aerial production (117 yards to be exact) went to Mahsyn Alvarado, who also brought in two receiving touchdowns.

Sonora's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Stamford, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
