The Fisher Bunnies will head out on the road to challenge the Tremont Turks at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Fisher is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Fisher is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since May 6, 2024 on Monday. They lost 13-2 to LeRoy. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Bunnies' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Fisher saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Schulze, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Schulze launched this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tremont). Everything went their way against Eureka on Monday as they made off with a 16-6 win. The victory continues a trend for the Turks in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won seven in a row.

Audrey Parn was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ivy Stuber, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5.

Tremont was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Fisher's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Tremont, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Tremont's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday. Fisher has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.7 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Tremont, though, as they've been averaging only 2.8 strikeouts. Will Fisher keep running through batters, or will the Turks buck the trend?

Fisher suffered a grim 11-0 defeat to Tremont in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Bunnies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
