 Montini Catholic put the finishing touches on their 14th blowout victory of the season  on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Leo Lions  a   10-0 shutout. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Montini Catholic.
  Jack Calcagno looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than nine  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Max Bell was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with four  RBI and a  run. Another player making a difference was  John Louise, who  went 1-for-1 with three  RBI and a  stolen base.
 On Leo's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Devin Vassel, who  got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with a  stolen base.  Ian Dunn was another key contributor,  going 1-for-1 with two  stolen bases and a  double.

As for Leo, they will head out on the road to  take on  De La Salle at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. De La Salle is coming into the  contest with four straight  victories at home,  so Leo will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum.
