The Brashear Bulls will face off against the Sto-Rox Vikings at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Brashear is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.

On Wednesday, Brashear didn't have quite enough to beat Carrick and fell 5-4. The loss continues a trend for the Bulls in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost seven in a row.

Dominic Sarokon put in work no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Sarokon was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

Sarokon wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Achillies Minton, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Minton also put up an RBI, which was his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Sto-Rox was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Ellwood City, falling 23-1.

Brashear's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Sto-Rox, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Brashear took their victory against Sto-Rox when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 18-6 score. Will the Bulls repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
