The Centaurus Warriors are on the road again on Wednesday to play the Englewood Pirates at 4:30 p.m. Centaurus is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 14 runs per game this season.

Centaurus is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Platte Canyon with a sharp 26-6 victory on Monday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

Nora Midness was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). What's more, she also racked up three hits, the mostshe's had since back in August. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two stolen bases. Centaurus came out on top in a nail-biter against Englewood in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, sneaking past 12-11. The rematch might be a little tougher for Centaurus since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
