Basketball Recap: Dime Box Comes Up Short

Dime Box lost against Fayetteville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dime Box Longhorns were beaten by the Fayetteville Lions 79-36. The Longhorns' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Dime Box's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Fayetteville, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8.

Dime Box will take on Calvert in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Fayetteville and North Zulch will compete for holiday cheer at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Fayetteville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully North Zulch likes a good challenge.
