Volleyball Recap: Labrae's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

LaBrae was the 3-0 winner over Cardinal when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The loss put an end to the Vikings' undefeated start to the season.

LaBrae took Cardinal into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-11, 25-17, 17-25, 15-12.

LaBrae's offense was headlined by Ella Kuszmaul and Riley Rowe, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Shelby Bragg and her 18 assists. Khloe Sanderson controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, LaBrae fell to 2-1.

LaBrae wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Garfield on the 20th. As for Cardinal, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Pymatuning Valley on the 21st.
