Volleyball Recap: Thayer Central Takes a Loss

Thayer Central lost against Lincoln Lutheran back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Titans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.

Thayer Central's offense was headlined by Paige Tietjen and Piper Havel, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Olivia Wiedel and her 15 assists. Jaelynn Watson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Thayer Central's loss dropped their record down to 22-5. As for Lincoln Lutheran, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 25-5.

Thayer Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Lincoln Christian on the 18th. As for Lincoln Lutheran, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Wahoo on the 18th.
