There's no place like home for Joliet West, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lincoln-Way West Warriors on Monday. The Tigers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Warriors, so the Tigers were just returning the favor.

Joliet West easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13.

Lexie Grevengoed paced Joliet West's offense, picking up nine kills. Grevengoed got some help from Julia Adams and her 12 assists.

Joliet West has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Lincoln-Way West, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

Joliet West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Lockport on the 17th. As for Lincoln-Way West, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Thornwood on the 19th.
