Recap: Swanville Bulldogs vs. Upsala Cardinals
The Swanville Bulldogs lost against the Upsala Cardinals back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Swanville was outmatched by Upsala at home and fell 79-44. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Swanville in their matchups with Upsala: they've now lost five in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Upsala to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dakota Soltis, who scored 20 points along with five steals. Soltis has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Brenna Graves was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Swanville's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Upsala, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.
Swanville will be playing in front of their home fans against Little Falls at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Upsala, they will head out on the road to face off against Braham at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
