Basketball Game Preview: Oakman Wildcats vs. Curry Yellowjackets

Oakman hasn't had much luck against Curry recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. After both having extra time off, both will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Oakman is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on December 14th. They were beaten by Dora 64-28. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-13.

Meanwhile, Curry had to suffer through a 52-22 loss at the hands of Winston County. While losing is never fun, Curry can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 332nd, while Winston County is ranked 141st).

Oakman's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Curry, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
