Soccer Recap: Westbury Comes Up Short

Westbury's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Sharpstown Apollos by a score of 1-0. Westbury were not able to make up for their defeat to Sharpstown from their previous meeting back in February of 2025.

Westbury's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Sharpstown, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coincidentally, Westbury and Sharpstown will both be playing Galena Park the next time they take the pitch. The Apollos will head out to face the Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Huskies will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
