Soccer Game Preview: Lake Belton vs. Chaparral

Lake Belton managed to keep up with University until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Lake Belton lost 4-1 to University. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, the Broncos couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Chaparral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Belton, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 315th, while the Tigers are ranked 98th).

Lake Belton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Chaparral, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
