Basketball Recap: North Side Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for North Side on Tuesday. They took down the Trimble Tech Bulldogs 53-37. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-32 back in December of 2024.

North Side was led to victory by Trustin Holland and Deion Malone. Holland posted 12 points and three steals, while Malone went 8 for 14 en route to 18 points. What's more, Malone also racked up two assists, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Kristopher Anderson was another key player, putting up nine points.

North Side's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-14. As for Trimble Tech, they are on a 20-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-20.

When North Side and Trimble Tech next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. North Side will try to stop Arlington Heights' three-game winning streak when the meet at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Trimble Tech will face off against Paschal and their four-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
