Volleyball Recap: Kearns Comes Up Short

Kearns was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Hillcrest Huskies. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

The final score came out to 25-17, 14-25, 25-21, 25-22.

Kearns' defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Hillcrest, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Kearns is set to take on their familiar foe Taylorsville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hillcrest will challenge rival West Jordan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
